If you didn’t submit photos of your property in the application form, please send photos of your property to fostercare@rspcawa.org.au along with your full name so we can add your photos to your application. Photos should demonstrate that your property is suitable, safe and secure.
If you intend to foster a dog, please include photos of your outdoor area that show:
- the type of fencing you have, and that there aren’t any gaps in or under fencing or gates where an animal could potentially squeeze through
- any water features or pools, and that council-approved fencing is in place to prevent an animal from falling in (or that temporary fencing can be installed)
- an overall idea of the condition of the back yard and the absence of hazardous objects.
Once we’ve received images of your property, our team will review your application and be in touch soon.
Friendly reminders:
- Shelter animals may need to be brought to the RSPCA Animal Care Centre in Malaga for regular medical checks and behaviour assessments.
- Medical appointments are scheduled during business hours on weekdays, with limited timeslots available.
- Foster dogs are required to have access to both outside and inside the house.
- Foster cats are required to be kept strictly indoors.
