Driving these funding outcomes in turn supports RSPCA WA's animal welfare activities and animal care services. About the role We are seeking a Senior Community Engagement Manager who also has a passion for animal welfare. The ideal applicant will provide strategic community engagement expertise and operational management across the organisation's Brand and Revenue related functions, including fundraising, philanthropy, marketing, social enterprise and events. Working closely with the Executive Management Team, this role is responsible for the delivery of relevant outcomes in line with the organisation's business plan and budget, and supporter expectations. Key focus areas Through positive leadership, the Executive Manager Community Engagement inspires the team to achieve continual improvement in their roles, with a clear focus on RSPCA WA’s strategy, which is to build long-lasting relationships with the community, donors and supporters, the Executive Manager Community Engagement will. Develop and deliver an integrated fundraising and events strategy, focused on supported growth and retention. Ensure a culture of supporter first continuous improvement through effective, sustainable and accountable fundraising programs. Improve the operational systems, processes and policies to support management reporting, information flow, business processes and organisational planning. Manage an extensive multi-channel acquisition program to meet set targets for growth. Skills and qualifications To succeed in this job the ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience and training across the areas for which the position is responsible. Senior management experience developing and implementing major direct marketing and acquisition strategies. Proven ability in managing, leading and inspiring a high performing team to success. Extensive experience in project management and campaign integration. Proven experience developing a detailed budget and managing programs within budget. Working knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988 and its application in a fundraising environment. Detailed knowledge of fundraising processes and procedures relating to database management. Solid understanding and experience in developing donor-focused programs and experiences that prioritises the value of RSPCA WA supporters. Excellent report writing skills, with proven ability to effectively analyse programs and utilise findings for improving results.
