Expression of Interest - Horse Adoption

Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our rescued horses. These horses may still be undergoing close medical attention, handling and rehabilitation at RSPCA WA’s Animal Care Centre in Malaga, or are placed with specialist foster carers.

Due to the complexity and time involved in the adoption process for animals like horses, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from potential adopters.

If you are able to meet all of the basic requirements listed below, you are eligible to submit an EOI.

Please be aware that completing this form does not guarantee that your application will be successful, as our standard assessment process will apply in seeking the most suitable homes for our animals.

REFERENCES

Please provide the details of a reliable, credible referee who can vouch for the claims you have made in your EOI application. They should be able to talk about your experience with owning, handling, riding and caring for horses, and your ability to provide a horse with everything it needs for the rest of its life.

THE FINE PRINT

The horses remain the property of RSPCA WA until the adoption process is finalised. RSPCA WA retains the right to rehome the horses at its own discretion.

If your application is successful you will be carefully matched by our animal behaviour team to a horse suitable for your level of experience. Some general orientation may be provided.

Please note some of the horses may still require ongoing medical treatment, if applicable this information will be disclosed to you prior to adoption.

When you submit this form, it will be sent to the Adoptions team at RSPCA WA. If you need to contact RSPCA WA in the meantime, please call +61 8 9209 9323 during shelter hours.

By clicking the "Send" button below, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age, that the information you have provided above is true, accurate and complete, and that you agree to the above adoption terms and conditions.
