Membership Terms

If your membership application is accepted, you will be required to pay an annual membership fee of $50 per year (or $35 per year for concession) to finalise your membership.

The membership runs from 1 July to 30 June each year. Renewal notices are issued annually.

I declare the following to be true:

1. I am over 18 years of age and wish to become a member of RSPCA WA

2. I support the purposes of RSPCA WA and agree to comply with the company’s Constitution, including paying the guarantee under clause 4, if required.

2a. Clause 4: Each member must contribute an amount of not more than $10 (the guarantee) to the property of the company if the company is wound up while they are a member, or within 12 months after they cease being a member, and this contribution is required to pay for:

(a) debts and liabilities of the company incurred before the member ceased being a member, or

(b) the costs of winding up.

3. I have not been convicted of an offence for cruelty to an animal in any jurisdiction in the past 10 years.

4. I understand my membership fee will be due immediately and on each subsequent 1 July, and my membership rights can be suspended if subscription is not paid within two months of the due date.

5. I understand that membership of RSPCA WA is not an automatic entitlement and that membership applications are subject to approval.

6. I authorise RSPCA Western Australia (ABN 48 626 609 587) to direct debit my annual membership renewal fee. This authority is to remain in force until further notice. Direct debits can be cancelled at any time by emailing membership@rspcawa.org.au or calling (08) 9209 9300.
