Why become a member

When you become a member of RSPCA WA, you join a community who cares about animal welfare and wants to see better outcomes for animals across Western Australia. You’ll:

  • be a voice for animals in need.
    As a member, you’ll get the opportunity to have your say on how we support animals in need and pursue our vision and mission at general meetings.
  • help shape our future.
    Members have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting and on other member matters, in accordance with the RSPCA WA Constitution. Members will be notified of the next AGM directly.
  • support animal welfare.
    Your membership fees help support the work we do every day to prevent cruelty, protect animals and improve animal welfare across Western Australia.
  • stay connected.
    Members receive updates on RSPCA WA’s work, campaigns, priorities and the difference your support is making for animals across WA.

What your membership supports

Membership fees help RSPCA WA continue its work across Western Australia, including:

  • rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals in need
  • investigating animal cruelty complaints and responding to animal welfare concerns
  • advocating for better animal welfare laws and standards
  • educating the community about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership
  • supporting animals and the people who care for them.

Membership fees

Adult membership: $50 per financial year

Concession membership: $35 per financial year

The membership runs from 1 July to 30 June each year. Renewal notices are issued annually.

Terms of membership

Membership applications are subject to approval by the RSPCA WA Board in accordance with the RSPCA WA Constitution.

As a company limited by guarantee, members are also required to agree to the provisions of the Constitution, including the member guarantee obligations.
