Why work with RSPCA WA

When you join the RSPCA WA team, your day-to-day work contributes to better animal welfare outcomes, like these. Here are some of the many reasons that we love coming to work every day:

  • Work with purpose.
You’ll be part of achieving our important mission to improve animal welfare outcomes each day.
  • Work with great people.
We are compassionate, determined and caring towards animals, the public, our volunteers and each other.
  • Work with great perks.
We provide discounts on health and wellbeing services for you and your fur family, supportive Employee Assistance Programs and a flexible work environment.
  • Work with connection to nature and animals.
RSPCA WA’s head office and animal care centre are located on 12 acres of beautiful bushlands. Here, you can enjoy onsite wellness walks, hear the calming sounds of local birds and visit some of the animals in our care.

“It’s grassroots. No matter what role you play, you can see the difference that you’re making and how you’re helping animals. I can’t recommend working here highly enough – you do get a great sense of satisfaction and pride.”

– Lou, Head of Corporate Communications & Education

“It’s just such a unique place to work, and it’s such a rewarding career. I’ll get home and I’ll know I’ve done the best I can with what I’ve got, and I’ve possibly saved an animal’s life, or I’ve helped a family learn to care for an animal.”

– Peta, RSPCA WA Inspector
