What your dog will learn

Our six-week Level 2 Dog Training course is designed for those who have completed our Level 1 course (or equivalent) and want to work closely with their dog to advance their skills and teamwork through a series of fun games and activities. 

We focus on more complex commands and techniques to help your dog thrive in a variety of real-life situations, including:   

✔ Parallel walking
✔ Recall at a distance  
✔ Heel with distractions
✔ Sit and stand for grooming and health checks
✔ Tolerance to separation
✔ Attention with distractions
✔ Wait before getting out of the car
✔ Staying calm when meeting other dogs   

 

What you’ll gain 

By the end of the course, you’ll have: 

  • Techniques to help your dog stay calm and focused around distractions
  • The ability to handle more challenging situations at a greater distance
  • Greater confidence in your dog’s obedience 
  • More reliable communication with your dog 

Course details

Course length: Six weeks 

Classes: One 50-minute class per week. Starts with one dog-free session, followed by five practical classes 

Cost: $240 

Class Size: 4 – 8 dogs* 

Recognition: Certificate of Achievement upon successful completion 

Who it’s for: Fully vaccinated dogs over 13 weeks old, who have completed our Level 1 dog training course (or equivalent). 

This course is right for those wanting to build on the basic foundations of dog obedience to develop more reliable and specific techniques for common everyday situations. 

*Courses with <4 dogs may be postponed by a week or two to meet minimum class numbers. This is for socialisation purposes.
