  • AWARE Program

AWARE Program

We believe education is the key to creating lasting change.
Our main aim is to help young people develop responsible and caring behaviour toward animals, preventing animal cruelty and neglect in the long-term.

That’s why RSPCA WA has introduced a series of resources aimed at educating young people about animal welfare.

RSPCA AWARE (Animal Wellbeing: Awareness, Responsibility and Education) provides resources for educators, students and parents. These resources help young people develop knowledge, skills and understandings around improving the welfare of all animals, be they companions, farmed or wild animals.

Best of all, the program is free!

Watch the video below, from our colleagues in South Australia, to see how the program integrates animal welfare messages into the school curriculum.
