Why volunteer

Thank you for your interest in making a difference in the lives of animals in need.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of RSPCA WA. Without the incredible commitment, dedication and passion of people like you, we simply could not help abandoned, neglected, sick and surrendered animals in Western Australia each year.

Volunteering is a hugely rewarding experience, offering you the opportunity to make a positive impact to the lives of many animals in need. You will:

  • Play a direct role in improving animal welfare in WA.
  • Develop new skills and knowledge, which may assist you with future employment opportunities.
  • Meet loads of wonderful new like-minded people.
  • And more!
