Community Action Day - Kalgoorlie-Boulder

If you're experiencing financial hardship and finding it difficult to care for your pets, please come down to the free Community Action Day in Kalgoorlie on Thursday, 9 May 2024 at Centennial Park, Somerville from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

What's on offer:

• Free health checks - limited spaces. Dogs and puppies will be seen in order of priority, based on the animal's needs.
• Free dog microchipping (*not available for litters or breeders)
• Free pet food for families in financial need 
• Free flea and worming treatments for dogs and cats
• Free chain exchange - swap your choker collar for a humane flat collar, thanks to Rogz
• Educational information about pet care and responsible pet ownership

Special thanks to the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder for their support of this event. 

We encourage members of the public to join us with their dogs and puppies, which must be kept on leash at all times. If your puppy has not had all its vaccinations yet, you will need to carry the puppy at all times.

Due to welfare concerns, cats are not able to attend.
